I was recently invited to join a new website/organization named Concierge du Monde, or World Concierge, and wanted to tell you about it.

Concierge du Monde (CDM) was started by a former female escort who had been very interested in the concept of hiring a male companion for herself but became “lost” in her search for a genuine straight male escort. Her feeling was that there were many websites advertising males for hire but most of them turned out to primarily be Men for Men, and not purely Men for Women, which was her objective. Men for Women companions did exist but they we’re few and far between, especially in the United States and so her goal was to try make a portal where both women as patrons and men as companions could communicate with each other, post questions on the forum and generally interact.

I think it’s an awesome idea for everyone concerned. The entire men for women niche is still fledgling compared to it’s counterpart, as the concept of a women viewing male companionship as a viable service is still being discovered.

That said, I think CDM provides the perfect platform for the ladies to learn more about the guys prior to any engagement. The more a woman can learn about her subject beforehand the more comfortable she will be with her decision in making arrangements to meet her companion.

We can all throw out a website and say how wonderful we are and what a great service we provide but being able to interact or “chat” with a companion via a credible portal can certainly help with any nervousness or questions.

Have you seen/heard about the TV show “Hung”? If so, what do you think of it?

I’m aware of it but I don’t watch much television so I’m not up with the latest HBO series that come out. It will be interesting to see how the general public will embrace it after 2-3 episodes. It has the potential to be cute but whether it becomes another Desperate Housewives/Sex in the City type show remains to be seen. I somehow doubt it.

Do you think the show is an indication that people’s attitudes about women hiring men as escorts have changed? Or do you think that the show will, in itself, help change people’s ideas about male escorts?

It’s difficult to comment without having seen more than a trailer clip but it’s an interesting enough topic for the powers that be in HBO to test it out. Male companionship has been around for decades but the only other media references I remember prior to this are Deuce Bigelow and Richard Gere in American Gigolo.

It has the ability to open up the idea to women who have never considered hiring men as an escort but again, if it concentrates on sex then it makes for a fun-for-the-moment television program and nothing will have been gained from it.

What do you think the biggest misconception is about male escorts?

That male companionship is all about sex. It’s more about fostering relationships with people who require them for a purpose, and in reality that is much more likely to be in the form of a romantic dinner partner, a travel companion for a cruise, or a theatre trip buddy than a wild tryst in the bedroom. People can get that through the personal ads or swingers clubs without cost. What I provide is purely companionship in its truest sense, on demand and without complications.

What’s the biggest real challenge?

Getting women to realize that a personal service such as companionship isn’t just for men anymore but is a viable option for females as well. Women don’t have to go to their high school reunion alone, or to that wedding sans date. They can take advantage of a service that is all about spoiling them. Women, as a rule, aren’t necessarily used to being spoiled.

The Stranger

I could tell you in the about section of my website what a swell guy I am; how handsome, and funny, charming and well mannered a person, but that’s what you would expect to read.

I have put together this post in the hope of addressing some of your questions or fears. My intention is that my personality and traits will come out more through this blog posting rather than my “About” website section. I tend to write as my personality is: formal when required but relaxed and with a slight tongue in cheek approach.

YOU: What kind of person am I going to get? What is their personality like?

Regarding business-oriented functions, I spent 10 years in the financial sector in the City of London so am used to business lunches, dinners, and evening functions. I even know which fork goes with which course.

I am well-travelled and thoroughly enjoy learning new cultures and countries’ nuances.

YOU: Are they prepared and discreet? Can they blend into any situation?

ME: My aim in an engagement is two-fold: First and foremost is my desire to please you. It is your day/evening and you deserve to be spoiled regardless of the occasion. YOU: It’s a lot of trust to put into someone I don’t know.

So I’m dreaming of a trip to Dubai to go and see what all the fuss is about and decided to plan out a little vacation on paper. Obviously one would wish to do this in style so me thinks first class all the way is the only way to travel. That said Emirates Airlines have these neat little private suites and to quote their website: “(are) fully equipped with individual storage, a coat closet, vanity desk and personal mini bar. The extra-large seat reclines to become a fully flat bed, and the 23″ wide-screen LCD screen features over 600 channels of ice(?) entertainment.
I wonder if they provide neck rubs during the in-flight movies. Sounds like the airline for me.

So after the very restful flight it would only seem appropriate to stay in equally luxurious accommodation. Maybe that hotel that looks like a sail would suffice, The Burj al Arab. If I was going to travel that distance it would only make sense to stay in the royal suite. Wouldn’t want to slum it, not after that nice flight there.

Intrigued at the thought of staying at the worlds only 7-star hotel and arriving there via an aircraft suite that resembles a flying George V Hotel dans Paris I decided to price it out.

So, my flight leaves LAX on the 21st August arriving in Dubai on the 22nd. Five nights in the Royal Suite at the The Burj al Arab before returning in my private suite aboard Emirate Airlines flight EK215 back to Los Angeles.

The price? A mere snip at $159’497.12. (The hotel was $140,000 in case you were wondering.) The good news is that at $19,497.12 Emirates Airlines do not charge you for the earphones.

So as Frank Sinatra suggests “Come Fly with me” indeed but make sure you bring your American Express Centurion card.

I’m unsure how google determines what I mean when I type questions but hopefully sexism isn’t one of the key factors.

Businesswomen search

Anyway, Margot decided to give it a try. Figuring that you get what you pay for, she chose one of the most expensive (£800 for four hours, although prices range from £20 per hour up to £1,500 per night). Then she spoke to Jonathan on the phone, explained her motive, insisted on proof of qualifications and impressed on him how crucial this was to her career.
He turned up looking (sort of) the part. He put his hand in the small of her back and guided her into the room; she introduced him as her little-talked-about but long-term boyfriend, and then held her breath. Jonathan charmed the woman seated next to him, and chatted easily with Margot’s boss. Then he got spectacularly smashed, forgot her name and blew her cover by asking loudly: “So what is a girl like you doing paying for sex?”

Oooppss! Not a professional job done from our boy there. Me thinks that discretion wasn’t too high up in his list of “to-do’s” for that night.
I don’t know what happened to Jonathan after that night’s fiasco but I doubt his companion for that evening suggested they do it again.

Their flight attendants in the video are naked!!! Well not entirely but they are underneath the body paint. Suddenly i’m paying more attention to the screen than ever before and I’m not even on the flight! Strategically placed life-vests, oxygen masks, and crossed legs cover their modesty. If this video goes mega-viral (is that an actual expression?) then ANZ have not only got their passengers attention for safety reasons but now have many other airlines passengers thinking of Air New Zealand when they’re on the 9:15 London to Brussels commuter flight! Brilliant.

First we’re treated to the news that Senator John Ensign had an affair with a campaign staffer. Shock, horror, and disappointment had hardly begun to sink in and then wham!
Only a few days later, Gov. Mark Sanford admits that he had secretly flown to Argentina to visit a woman with whom he was having an affair.

Now what’s going on here? Both Republicans! Both politicians! Both with the same syllable structure and both with gospel names!

Now I’m no conspiracy theorist but something’s going on. At this rate both Luke Esser and John McCain are destined for romantic trysts in the next few days. Watch out Cindy and..errr…what ever Luke’s better half is called. (Okay so I’ve never heard of Luke Esser but he fitted in well with my theory and thank you google for helping me out.)

I’m not sure who the real victims are in these situations, the Wives who have been cheated on or us, the poor public having to listen to the obligatory post mortem drivel about “how sorry they are”, the tearful “I’ve let everyone down” speech, and finishing up with “now’s the time to begin the healing process.” As a side note apparently Gov. Mark voted for impeaching a certain Bill Clinton when Bill got caught not having sexual relations with anyone, citing the need for “moral legitimacy.” Bill Clinton himself also has the same syllable structure and is also a Politician but there my conspiracy theory falls apart seeing as though the name Bill is un-gospel like and he’s a Democrat! Damn you Bill!

It’s almost like there’s some sort of script for Politicians to follow when caught with their pants down. Page 56, paragraph 3 of the “How to save you marriage and career” handbook says: “First say you’re horrified at what you’ve done. Second, say you’ve let everyone down, including yourself and your people, and finish up with I’m off for some healing! For effect try to bribe the Wife to stand with you shoulder to shoulder and round it off with a loving kiss to the cheek. The fact that she looks devastated should not harm the effect too much.” Unfortunately Romeo Sanford didn’t pay Mrs. Sanford enough as she declined to be at his side. Shame he couldn’t bribe his boys either or we may have witnessed the catchy headline: “Sanford and Son!” (Thank you google again for letting me know he had four children, all boys.)

So, Mrs. Sanford, Mrs. Ensign and every other politician’s wife who’s had the ignominy of having to stand there while your husbands explain their behavior I am offering my services as a companion to you. Call it a shoulder to cry on, a dinner date to help you get through the moment or just a re-affirmation that you’re allowed some fun too. Hey you may even get to put it on his credit cards!
